Step 1. We have a free, no-obligation, “get acquainted” meeting to see if there is a fit between your needs and the services I provide. This
meeting also includes a discussion of how the planner is compensated.
Step 2. Next, there is a meeting to establish the scope of the engagement. It is important that the planner understands your goals. Clear and measurable objectives must be established. This may be accomplished through a comprehensive plan or a single area of your
financial plan. It all must be within the context of your overall life goals.
Step 3. The client provides whatever information/documents necessary for the planner to do a complete analysis and develop recommendations.
Step 4. Upon completion of the analysis, a meeting is set up to review the analysis and recommendations. The planner will clearly present the options
and explain the alternatives so that the client can make an informed decision. Additional options may be required at a follow-up meeting.
Step 5. Implementation of the plan will be undertaken by either the client or the planner and client together.
Step 6. Depending on the nature of the engagement, the planner will monitor progress towards the goals. There will be periodic reports and meetings to provide progress report updates. Adjustments will be made as necessary for life changes.
